Skin ProtectantYour install is only as good as the skin under it. Prepping with Skin Protectant gives your glue a clean, even foundation to grip, and helps manage the moisture and sweat that break down your hold from underneath.
Stop fixing your lace. Start installing it right.
Strong hold starts with the glue. A longer-lasting, seamless install comes from what you do before and after it.
Let’s fix that.
These women were looking for the same thing you are: strong hold, a clean melt and an install they didn’t have to keep fixing.
The glue can hold you.
The routine takes your install further.

Why your lace keeps lifting.
Lifting usually comes down to one of three things. Each step of the routine fixes one.
Sweat and oil under the lace
Moisture builds up under your lace and breaks the bond from underneath.
The fix: PrepGlue that’s too thick or not set
Heavy layers, or laying your lace before the glue is ready, leave it with nothing solid to grip.
The fix: HoldAn edge sitting on top of your skin
If the lace isn’t laid flat and melted down, the edge catches on everything and starts to lift.
The fix: MeltYour install is only as good as the skin under it. Prepping with Skin Protectant gives your glue a clean, even foundation to grip, and helps manage the moisture and sweat that break down your hold from underneath.
More glue isn’t more hold. Apply thin, intentional layers and let each one reach the right stage before you lay your lace. That’s where the grip really comes from.
Lace Layer Glue is buildable, so the number of layers depends on your skin type and the hold you need. Start with 2 thin, even layers, letting each layer turn completely clear and tacky before adding the next. If you need a stronger hold, build up to 3 to 4 thin layers. More layers can create a stronger hold, but each layer should stay thin. Lay your lace only after the final layer is clear and tacky.
The glue gives you the hold. The melt is what turns that strong hold into a seamless-looking finished install, so your lace lays flat and blends instead of sitting on top of your skin.
Once your lace is secured with Glue, apply a light, even layer of Freeze Melting Spray along the hairline. Tie the lace down with a melt band for at least 20 minutes for the best results, then remove the band and finish styling.
Glue gives you the hold. Melting Spray gives you the melt. Together, that’s the Double Melt.

“Wig stayed on 3 weeks.”
I love this brand, it has a very strong hold… My ma says it’s a cement hold for her. Wig stayed on 3 weeks with proper maintenance.

“I literally had to take it off myself, otherwise it was still holding on!!!”
I suffer hair loss (alopecia) since having chemotherapy. I keep my units on day and night. I’ve had this unit on for three weeks!!! And I literally had to take it off myself, otherwise it was still holding on!!! I love, love, love lace layer skin protectant and glue. Also the spray, even though I don’t use it as much bc the glue gets the job done!!! So glad I took a chance with this company! Please don’t switch up on whatever y’all are doing!

“At least two weeks without doing any touchups.”
Hands down the best wig glue I have ever used and I have used a lot. It’s secure. Don’t leave a white flaky residue… definitely a waterproof adhesive is a must have.

“My wig did not move at allllll.”
5 days in Jamaica with temps above 85 every day, hot flashes and hot showers… I have never had a glue that did not have my wig sliding after 2 to 3 days in this kind of heat. THIS GLUE IS A WINNER!

“I found my number one glue for my wigs.”
I purchased the whole kit and love it. The glue definitely holds and your wig slides right off with the remover. It works wonders in the heat and summer humidity. I didn’t have to worry about my wigs sliding back or lifting at all.

Lace Layer Glue is buildable, so the number of layers depends on your skin type and the hold you need. Some people get the hold they want with 2 thin layers, while others may need 3 to 4. Start with thin, even layers and let each one turn completely clear and tacky before adding the next. Additional layers can build a stronger hold. For longer-lasting results, always prep with Lace Layer Skin Protectant first.
Front lifting can happen when oil, sweat, moisture or improper prep interferes with the adhesive bond. Start with clean, completely dry skin, use Skin Protectant, and make sure every layer of Glue turns clear and tacky before laying your lace. Adding more glue isn’t always the answer. Sometimes the fix starts with better prep.
Sweat and moisture can weaken your adhesive bond, especially if the skin wasn’t properly prepped. Before applying Glue, use Lace Layer Skin Protectant to create a barrier between your skin and the adhesive and help manage sweat and oil. Then build your Glue in thin layers based on the hold your skin needs.
Start with a clean, dry hairline with no makeup, oil or product buildup. Apply a thin layer of Lace Layer Skin Protectant and let it dry completely before applying your Glue. Good prep gives your adhesive a clean foundation to bond to and can help your install last longer.
The Double Melt combines Lace Layer Glue and Freeze Melting Spray. Use the Glue first to secure your lace and create the hold. Once the lace is in place, use Freeze Melting Spray to help blend the lace into the skin for a flatter, more seamless finish.
The Glue gives you the hold. The Melting Spray gives you the melt.
A secure install and a seamless install are two different things. Glue secures the lace, but Freeze Melting Spray is what helps the lace lay flatter and blend into the skin. Once your lace is secured, apply the Melting Spray and set the lace down to help soften that visible lace line and create a cleaner, more seamless finish.
Never pull or peel your lace off while the adhesive is still bonded. Apply Lace Layer Remover along the bonded area and give it time to break down the Glue before gently releasing the lace. If there is still resistance, add more Remover rather than pulling.
A good install includes a good takedown.
